Ron Shaw
Ron Shaw is Founder and President
of Shaw Marketing Partners. As a marketing manager, researcher and
consultant,
he has helped hundreds of professionals in multiple industries create, improve
and market their products and services for over 3 decades.
During his management career
which began in 1973, he led a variety of highly successful strategic marketing and
new product development initiatives in the consumer packaged goods, financial
services and energy industries.
In 1991 he pursued his
passion for continuous innovation and began his consulting career as
founder of Product Innovators®, a research-based new product concept
development firm. He later consulted with Fortune 500 companies for
WalkerInformation a world leader in customer loyalty research and
now links the synergistic tenets of continuous improvement &
rapid innovation in his current practice.
Ron holds an MBA from
Fontbonne University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from
Indiana University. He has been certified by the Product Development
and Management Association as a ‘New Product Development Professional’
and has received a 'Certificate of Proficiency in Qualitative
Research' from The Burke Institute. In addition, Ron has received
facilitation training in the Osborn-Parnes Creative Problem-Solving
process from the Creative Education Foundation.
He
maintains his professionalism through active membership in the
American Marketing Association and Qualitative Research Consultants
Association.
In
his 37-year career, Ron has had the pleasure to serve many world
brands and Fortune
1000 companies, including: AIG (American General), Air Products &
Chemicals, Bank of America, Bank One Corporation, Celanese, The Dial Corporation, Duke Energy,
